We were so pleased to see this notice in Maynard School Superintendent Gerardi’s blog  – yea to the runners, students, and Girl Scouts.

Fill the Truck Fun Run to Benefit Open Table

The Maynard Running Club, in cooperation with Girl Scout Troops 66250 and 72620, is sponsoring a “Fill the Truck” fun run and food drive to benefit Open Table.  We will be gathering on Saturday November 18 at about 8am at Serendipity Cafe to do a fun run (with 5k and 10k options) around Maynard and to fill the bed of our Ford Ranger with nonperishable donations.

We’d love to invite any or all of the Maynard Schools Community to participate, whether by running, jogging, walking, or biking along with members of the running club or socializing with us afterwards.  All ages are welcome.
