Needed: Shopping Bags

Open Table distributes a lot of groceries – and that requires a lot of bags! Although some of our guests bring reusable bags, we still use about a bale of bags each week – that’s 375 to 500 bags!

You can help! Don’t throw away the bags you get at the grocery store, bring them to Open table. Drop folded paper bags (preferably those with handles) or reusable grocery bags in any Open Table drop-off donation bin. Or bring them to Open table in Maynard (33 Main Street) any time we are open (Monday 10am – 2-m, Tuesday & Thursday 10am – 6:30pm) or to our Concord Community Donation Center (Everett street) Tuesdays 2-5pm.
