Calling All Bakers!

Maynard Farmers’ Market is hosting an apple pie contest on Saturday, September 7^th.  Bake a pie with local apples and deliver it in a disposable pan with a copy of your recipe to the Maynard Farmers’ Market Table by 9:00 am.  Prizes will be awarded for Most Beautiful, Best Crust, Audience Favorite, Best Filling and Best Overall.

The Farmers’ Market takes place in the Mill Pond Parking Lot on Main Street, at the corner of Mill and Main in Maynard. You need an entry form and the $10 entry fee; preregistration is welcomed and encouraged.

And if you’re a better taster than baker? Come vote for the Audience Favorite category! Tasting cups will be available for a donation; all proceeds support Open Table.
