Amazing Race to Open Table

Concord Carlisle High School students participating in the Q5 Amazing Race course combined problem solving, outdoor adventure, history, and community service during their 4 day class based on the popular TV game show. The class of 80 students was broken into groups of 5 which navigated the surrounding cities, visiting checkpoints and completing various challenges.

Open Table’s Community Donation Center in Concord served as a checkpoint. Each group created 25 kids bags using items from contributions from the Alcott School and CCHS before rushing off to their next destination. Together the class produced 500 kids bags! Quite an amazing feat! Thank you to CCHS for including Open Table in this fun adventure, and to all of the students for helping brighten the day of some of Open Table’s younger guests.
