Chinese New Year Celebrated at Open Table

Open Table Volunteers collaborated with members of the Acton Chinese American Civic Society on February 28th to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a festive meal in Concord!  Members of the Civic Society sponsored the meal, taught us about the traditions of Chinese New Year, cooked and served the food and provided entertainment in the form of flower arranging, singing and dance.  The event drew a large crowd and all enjoyed the authentic Chinese meal and musical entertainment, learning about The Year of the Pig and taking a chance at the raffle which included 2 Chinese floral arrangements made that night by a ACACS member!
