Our Mission

Founded in 1989, Open Table's mission is to address hunger and social isolation in our area, while respecting the privacy and dignity of our guests in a welcoming community of support.

Beyond providing food resources, Open Table strives to build a community of support for its guests who face many challenges associated with poverty. Open Table helps to combat the social isolation that some of our guests experience.  Among our guests are the unemployed, the homeless, those on a limited income, the elderly, individuals with mental or physical disabilities, new immigrants, families and single parents.

We have expanded our original mission to become a link to other community services and support systems for our predominantly low-income guests.
