Ultimate Food Rescue Challenge

Three Squares New England is dedicated to reducing food waste and insecurity in the greater Boston area and is hosting a benefit dinner on Thursday, August 18 from 6:30PM – 11:00PM at Les Zygomates, Boston. Local chefs including Joe Gatto, Frank van Overbeeke, and Ismail Samad, will create delicious bites using donated and rescued food such as odd shaped vegetables and surplus ingredients from oversupply in the Ultimate Food Rescue Challenge. All proceeds benefit Three Squares New England, a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of 350,000 children, families and seniors in eastern and central Massachusetts who suffer from food insecurity.

Three Squares New England organizes an annual charity bike ride, the Ride for Food. This year’s Ride will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 and Open Table will again be one of the beneficiaries.
