September is Hunger Awareness Month

September is Hunger Action Month! Hunger Action Month^TM  (HAM) is a national effort led by Feeding America and their member food bank’s networks, including the Greater Boston Food Bank, dedicated to raising awareness about hunger in our communities.

Help Open Table and GBFB raise awareness of the issues of hunger by participating in the Empty Plate Social Media Campaign. Write what you cannot do on an empty stomach on an empty plate and post a photo to social media using the hashtag #EndHungerHere or #HungerActionMonth. Tag OpenTable with @OpenTableMA and @OpenTableFood and tag so we can work together to spread the word!
